Sure, the second photo could be taken anywhere out of a car window at 60 mph with a 1960′s era circular Holiday Inn in the background, but the first photo is as close to a quintessential sunset view of the Lowcountry from a public financed infrastructure project that you will find anywhere. A boat and shadowy moss-laden trees below shimmering cirrus clouds included. One of the many reasons I love this fair locale. Always makes me change the title lyrics of Wilco’s “California Stars” to “Carolina Sky”.
